The sound quality is great for a speaker of this size. It gives me a crisp clear sound with adequate bass. I actually purchased two sets, the wood grain look and also the black wood grain. The second set was purchased because I kept getting a split second interruption with the signal while streaming music. That was quite annoying, just to discover that the second set does the exact same thing no matter what device I've paired the speakers with. I've tried cell phones, smart TV and tablet. I wonder if it is actually the speakers or some type signal interruption in my residence but it doesn't happen with ANY of my other Bluetooth devices. I'm just saying...

Definitely worth the price, hands down. I spent some time researching a great record player that doesn’t break the bank and the H00501 lives up to all of my expectations and more. As a kid from the 70’s who still has close to 100 albums but nothing to play them on, this Angels Horn select packs a punch. I bought this with the intention of wanting to listen to my older albums plus buying some releases of newer artists. It meets all expectations plus gives me the option of syncing to other speakers or routing to an amp!! Well done!

Originally a suggestion I made to a friend who wanted to start playing records (they had a collection but never bothered getting anything better than those crappy plastic suitcase record players), I just googled an all-in-one option under 250$ that could just plug n play.

Found this. Got here fast, and I am not disappointed, surprised in fact to a point that I bought one for myself, what with my apartment running out of space and me deciding to store my proper, heavy setup for the time being. Since it got here three weeks ago, it's been spinning licorice pizza for hours each day, no hitch.

The finish is good enough (one tiny chip in the wood, no big deal)
Setup is easy enough for my friend, a klutz of the highest measure, to figure it out with the arm counterweight.
The speakers are loud enough to do a good job to play for an average sized living room, but the option to hook up more speakers is all the better.
I haven't tested the Bluetooth function, so I won't speak of it.

The mat is felt, so if you want to exchange it with something better, it's simple enough.

The needle's an Audio Technica so you can honestly keep it as is without having to upgrade it, especially for introducing people to the hobby.

Worth the money, if you want to get started with something well-put together.

I bought this as a birthday present to myself and I am so pleased I did. Set up was easy, sound is great. My only gripe (and not enough to lose even a fraction of a star!) Is the lid. Feels a bit wobbly on plastic hinges and requires extra room in the back for opening up fully.

This record player has remarkable sound. There is a vibrant richness filling the air that definitely was lacking with my previous player. Also, I would encourage anyone considering purchasing this record player to buy it directly from Angels Horn. The price couldn't be beat, and I was stunned at how quickly it arrived. Fortunately, I haven't needed any customer service with this purchase - but I know from experience that trying to get customer service from Amazon is a joke.

I’m so glad I took a chance on this! It’s a definite upgrade from my Victrola that left half on my record hanging out. The price was comparable, but the quality, weight and sturdiness of this is unbeatable! Also, can we talk about how aesthetically pleasing this is? I took the time to properly calibrate my cartridge and counter weight, following a detailed YouTube video and the results are amazing! I absolutely love this turntable and I really hope to get many years of play from it.

A little over 6 months ago I decided I wanted to dip my toes into the vinyl space and started researching some of the best starter set ups. After seeing horror stories about a certain popular brands suitcase players that I was originally going to start with- I stumbled upon a couple mentions of this company. Upon further research I did see a few mixed opinions, but decided to order this set up anyways. Absolutely no regrets! I don’t even feel like I need to upgrade (which may change later down the line), this is a dream set up for someone who’s considering testing the waters and doing some casual listening. I’m not an audiophile by any means - that being said, to my untrained ear the speakers included completely blew my expectations out of the water. Good quality sound and I only have to turn the volume a tiny more than a quarter of the way up and that’s plenty loud enough when I’m cleaning around the house. Set up was pretty easy in my opinion when following a YouTube video. Everything feels high quality and well made especially for the price point. Easy and professional company from start to finish. I would recommend this company to anyone and will absolutely be purchasing from them for any future needs.

I first want to say anyone who is hating on this turntable is looney tunes. The build quality is impressive, the setup though detailed and intimidating to a newb it was actually fun! I bought a digital downforce scale to dial in the weight and anti skid which made the set up correct the first time. I first used Bluetooth which sounds just as good to my newb ears as the rca’s. I will be testing this out soon as well. I replaced my handed down Technics turntable and the Angels Horn is light years better. My new and old albums all sound amazing. I would buy this turntable over and over. If you are thinking about getting into vinyl this is your turntable! You can thank me later 😉
